Job Description As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed DoD Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more . As an armed patrol officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a secure environment. This role requires carrying a firearm and may involve driving responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with personnel and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including both interior and perimeter areas. Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or breaches within the facility. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols. Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies. Participate in ongoing training and drills to remain prepared for potential threats or emergencies specific to the aerospace and defense environment.
Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license with over 1 year of experience is required Level III Armed Security Officer Certification is required for positions in Texas. An active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance is required. Texas Security Armed Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
