GSOC and Physical Security Manager Olive Branch
RESPONSIBILITIES:
GSOC
- You will be responsible for operational excellence of the GSOC, including the management of personnel, processes, and technology.
- You will drive the development of operational protocols and standards to ensure rapid and effective security responses across the company.
- Your leadership will enhance our global security posture, and you will work closely with internal stakeholders to align GSOC initiatives with Hyve's overall security objectives.
- Manage the daily operations of the GSOC, ensuring effective incident detection, analysis, and response.
- Lead the GSOC team, including hiring, training, and professional development to maintain high-performance standards.
- Develop and refine operational procedures and protocols for the GSOC, ensuring they are in line with global security best practices.
- Collaborate in the Business Continuity Management program to ensure the GSOC is primed for immediate action during critical incidents.
- Oversee risk assessments and security audits to ensure the GSOC is proactively addressing potential threats.
- Maintain updated GSOC policies and SOPs and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Manage the GSOC budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively for optimal security operations.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive communication strategy for incident reporting and information dissemination across the company.
Physical Security
- Manages the contracted security supervisor and assists with areas of responsibility as needed.
- Effectively hires, manages, motivates, coaches, and formally evaluates the performance of direct reports
- Assists with personnel investigations and provides input for disciplinary activities.
- Assists in development and completion of competency tasks and facility orders.
- Develops and implements internal controls to ensure field staff compliance with facility orders, competency tasks, and assigned duties.
- Creates, modifies, and updates policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for security and enterprise operations.
- Serves in a consultative and policy-setting role regarding the implementation and management of security solutions.
- Coordinates and assists with various personnel training programs as needed.
- Manages budgets, purchases, and makes recommendations for other company expenditures.
- Manages site CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder alarm (and associated contracts).
- Manages technical projects regarding Security Protection Systems
- Independently interprets and promotes corporate policy and procedures.
- Works and interacts with other employees, prospective employees, prospective and current clients, sales representatives, vendors, and visitors.
- Works cross-functionally as an enabler to the manufacturing operation.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in Physical Security Management and a GSOC environment.
- Bachelor's degree or security qualification in related field preferred (CPP, CSMP).
- Member of a security body preferred (ASIS, IMSI)
- Technical knowledge and experience of security protection systems:
CCTV (Milestone, Hanwha, Xprotect),
Access Control (Ccure)
Intruder Alarm Management (ADT, JCI),
Facial Recognition (Idemia) systems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, site leadership, and entry-level personnel.
