Requirements

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, well-organized, detail oriented dual hat, Security Manager/HR Administrator to support the Director of Corporate Services.

What you will be doing :

Security:
  • Conduct security prescreens for prospective hires
  • Create and administer initial security briefings, annual refreshers and termination briefings
  • Update and maintain our security awareness and Insider Threat program
  • Maintain accuracy of security systems such as DISS, NBIS and NISS
  • Initiate, review and process all clearance processing paperwork for employees
  • Coordinate with government agencies, primes and subcontractors regarding indoctrination appointments, polygraph appointments, security interviews, DD254's and all compliance matters
  • Complete annual self-inspections and brief those findings to leadership
  • Maintain accuracy of all contractual documents to include CPRLs and DD254s
  • Submit Visitor Requests when applicable
  • Interface with ANS leadership team, recruiting, IT and other offices with regards to security matters
  • Conduct investigations and make appropriate reports for all security incidents/ violations
  • Assist in matters of facilities and physical security for the corporate and satellite office such as maintaining and updating the Emergency Action Plan and managing access control systems
HR:
  • Provide first level payroll and HR assistance to all employees
  • Maintain/update employee records with complete accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist in reviewing, revising and updating of Corporate documentation and policies
  • Assist in recruiting and onboarding
  • Provide support throughout the hiring process and open enrollment periods
  • Support PMs and HR in career management forms and employee resumes throughout year; track employee feedback and contributions, training(s), certifications and/or degrees received
Support Corporate activities such as:
  • Participate in the planning and execution of corporate events and team building events
  • Assist in producing and reviewing corporate communications
  • Manage and capture notes from staff meetings and other meetings as needed
  • Assist with employee recognition programs to include research, tracking, purchasing recognition items, and delivery
  • Perform other data entry projects as required
  • Research, purchase, organize, and coordinate the distribution of morale gifts for employees. This may, at times, include purchasing gifts for partners and customers and present alternatives to the Director, Corporate Services
What you bring :

Security:
  • 5+ Years of experience working in personnel security for a government contractor
  • Solid knowledge of security practices and applications such as DISS, NBIS and NISS
  • Proven ability to work individually and part of a team
  • Demonstrated past performance in successfully managing a security program
  • Strong organizational, written, oral and analytic skills
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and thorough, proactive, able to meet deadlines
  • Extensive familiarity with the National Industrial Security Program Operations Manual (NISPOM) and IC Agencies security directives
  • CSSO Certification
  • Facility Security Officer for Non-Possessing (or Possessing) Facilities Certification
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
HR:
  • Basic understanding of HR functions
  • Ability to multitask and organize
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Proactive, highly motivated, organized and flexible
Nice to Haves:
  • Engaged member in local chapter security groups such as ISAC and NCMS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice Administration or related field
