Security Control Assessor with Security Clearance

Role: Security Control Assessor
Location: Ft. Belvoir, VA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Citizenship: US Citizen able to obtain Secret Clearance (Already having Secret is preferred) Top Skills: Must have previous Army experience (candidates who have not supported Army do not get responded to), 3 years as a Security Control Assessor (ISSO does not qualify), Bachelors' Degree from Accredited University, eMASS Overview:
We currently have opportunities for a Security Control Assessor (SCA) - Contractor.

• Receive and complete a comprehensive assessment of A&A or Assess Only eMASS packages

• Assist the A&A or Assess Only activity and ensure that a thorough validation occurs on all elements and security controls within eMASS.

• Complete the eMASS with the results from the assessment for each security control.

• Complete the Risk Assessment Report (RAR) eMASS module for each non-compliant security control. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree is required

• Knowledge of the following: A&A and Assess Only processes, Risk management processes, the current concepts and capabilities of cyber defense and vulnerability assessment tools, including open-source tools, and their capabilities, known vulnerabilities from alerts, advisories, and bulletins

• 7-10 years related experience

• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in Unclassified and Secret Information Systems (IS) Security and the implementation of regulations identified in the job description

• Must have expert knowledge of DoD, National and applicable service and agency security policy, manuals and standards Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel, and industry partners

• Prior performance in the role of ISSO, ISSM, or SCA

• Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Thanks and Regards
