SAIC is seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals at our Reston, VA location. The candidate shall respond quickly and effectively to security needs and concerns. The successful candidate will provide program security support to the Intelligence Community (IC). Conduct candidate pre-screen interviews and serve as an integral participant in the recruiting process Process personnel security clearances Assist with preparing clearance request packages to include SF86 reviews for clearance processing Conduct SCI Indoctrination briefings and educational training for new and current employees and coordinate security debriefings as necessary Manage and administer all security aspects for multiple programs, including implementing physical, program, facility and information security requirements to ensure compliance with NISPOM, DCIDs, ICDs, federal security regulations and information security requirements Will learn to develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified materials, documents, and equipment Will learn to develop, write and review security documentation and provide guidance and assistance for all security levels including collateral and SCI information Investigate and manage security incidents and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken Responsible for SCIFs and may be required to respond to after-hours alarms Support other facility security items as necessary Provide proposal support, as needed to include writing Security Volumes (Prior experience authoring security volumes is a plus) Be an active member of the security team It is preferred that our ideal candidate possess the following soft-skills: Teamwork: Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing ideas and supporting colleagues to achieve common goals. Qualifications Required Education and Qualifications: Candidate must have an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in order to be considered for this position Candidate must have a Bachelors and minimum three (3) years or more of related experience; Masters and one (1) year or more experience; Additional four (4) years experience may be accepted in lieu of degree Candidate should have excellent communication, judgment and decision making skills Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify solutions Working knowledge of the NISPOM, DCIDS, ICDs, and Executive Orders, to ensure security compliance Previous security experience with the Intelligence Community Knowledge of the various security disciplines such as physical security, personnel security, information system security and industrial security to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
