Job Summary: Red Canyon Technologies is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Security Administration Specialist to support enterprise-level security operations involving classified and sensitive projects. This role provides essential security program execution and administrative support, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), service-level, and facility-specific security policies. The ideal candidate will contribute to secure workplace operations, help maintain protected environments, and support personnel and information security functions. This position is contingent upon contract award Job Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in coordinating the full lifecycle of personnel security support, including clearance processing, access management, and visit authorization documentation. Maintain current and organized security files, rosters, and automated tracking tools, ensuring all required information is up to date and audit-ready. Provide day-to-day administrative support for security program activities, including reporting, inspections preparation, and routine correspondence. Support the secure operation of facilities by coordinating physical access procedures, maintaining control of secure spaces, and monitoring entry compliance. Track and support timely completion of recurring security training, briefings, and required annual certifications for staff and contractors. Assist with the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), checklists, and internal control tools to improve program efficiency. Respond to internal requests and coordinate with government security officials to ensure adherence to established protocols and rapid issue resolution. Support the scheduling, documentation, and follow-up of security reviews, inspections, and internal audits. Coordinate logistics for secure meetings or briefings, ensuring all access and safeguarding requirements are met. Provide security onboarding for new personnel and ensure their transition aligns with facility security and information protection protocols. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience): Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field; equivalent experience will be considered. Active Secret security clearance required. Minimum 4 years of experience supporting personnel or administrative security operations in a federal, defense, or cleared contractor setting. Working knowledge of DoD security frameworks, including personnel, facility, and information security compliance requirements. Familiarity with systems such as the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and e-QIP. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks concurrently. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to interact professionally with a variety of stakeholders. Work Environment: This role will be performed on-site in Dayton, OH. It requires daily interaction with classified systems and facilities, close collaboration with government security representatives, and a commitment to operational security discipline.
