Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main contractor for a Section Engineer to support delivery on a long-term civils framework. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven Section Engineer to join a contractor known for investing in people, offering long-term stability, career development, and exciting infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

Site setting out and survey control

Produce ITPs, Task Briefs, 2-week lookaheads
-
Ensure works meet health, safety, quality and environmental standards

Maintain accurate site records and QA documentation
-
Support procurement and material coordination
-
Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and clients
-
Identify and resolve technical issues on site
Requirements
-
Civil Engineering degree or HNC
-
Previous experience as a Section Engineer on civil or utility projects
-
Strong understanding of temporary works and deep excavation
-
Skilled in setting out using Total Station or EDM
-
CSCS, SMSTS, TWC or TWS
-
Excellent communication and documentation skills
