Job Summary:
  • Coordinates the flow of information from the principal to students, staff and the community
  • Coordinates the operation of the school office including overseeing and delegating the work of the other clerical staff
  • Prepares reports, correspondence, newsletters, evaluations, and requisitions, etc.
  • Maintains accurate records of employee attendance and payroll
  • Maintains accurate records of budget accounts and an efficient filing system
  • Prepares and transmits required reports such as payroll, health, accident, building usages, employee attendance, immunization, etc.
  • Responsible for confidential and sensitive materials
  • Maintains efficient filing system
  • Orders and maintains office and building supplies
  • Assists in clinic operation as necessary
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Principal
Qualifications:
  • Significant secretarial experience (a minimum of one year experience as a school secretary is preferred)
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Smart, MiStar and Google Applications Docs, Sheets, Slides
  • Finance and budgeting experience preferred
  • Established experience supervising and facilitating the work of all secretarial/clerical staff
  • Established experience working effectively with student, staff and public
  • Excellent organizational, computation, accounting and spelling skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
Previous school experience preferred.

Working Conditions:
  • E-1, $18.57 - $24.97/Hour, 11 month position
