JOB SUMMARY:

Provide support and assistance of the day to day operations to the Curriculum Department

Responsible to: Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Effectively communicate and assist callers and visitors to the office
  • Communicate and work effectively on a regular basis with staff, administrators, vendors and the public.
  • Track budgets for all accounts used for curriculum purchasing including Title, CTE, Robotics, and other grants
  • Coordinate district calendars, professional development, summer school as needed
  • Process vendor purchase orders and invoices
  • Science materials coordinator for grades preK-5
  • Schedule and coordinate required grant meetings and communications with teachers and administrators.
  • Copying, distributing, and filing workshop materials; delivering materials and setting up workshops throughout the district
  • Organize and order all curriculum materials as necessary
  • Coordinating workflow and information with the appropriate administrative areas as instructed
  • Ensuring a high level of competency in handling and maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive and/or privileged information
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Significant secretarial experience (a minimum of one year of experience as a school secretary is preferred)
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Applications and G Suite
  • Experience with MiStar preferred
  • Finance and budgeting experience preferred, experience with SMART
  • Excellent organizational, computational, spelling, and grammar skills
  • Experience working with w/Title, CTE, and other grants
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with co-workers and the public
  • Experience with Formstack preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work with/ building principals and staff
  • Performs all tasks at a high level with/ attention to detail
  • Ability to be a conscientious self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving approach
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

F-1, $18.94 - $25.17 /hour, 12-month position. Monday - Thursday 8:00a - 4:30p and Friday 8:00a - 4:00p.
