Secretary IV- Human Resources Qualifications: School Diploma or GED Two (2) years office or secretarial experience preferred. Operational knowledge of office equipment to include copiers, fax machines and calculators. Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions. Demonstrated ability to implement clerical skills to include keyboarding, record keeping, filing and proper telephone etiquette. Able to work in a fast-pace work environment. Responsibilities: applicants, visitors and employees. Provides necessary information and assistance to applicants who are applying for employment at Archbold Medical Center. Assists visitors who come to Human Resources seeking information and provides guidance on how to contact the appropriate personnel in other departments. Assists employees who need to utilize our application system to apply for transfers within the Archbold system, print EStubs or complete paperwork for necessary tax and address changes. Assists employees who need to utilize our application system to apply for transfers within the Archbold system, print EStubs or complete paperwork for necessary tax and address chan Completes employment verifications according to Medical Center policy. Assists applicants with their new hire paper work to include tax forms, direct deposit information, cardex, I-9 documents and COVID vaccine documents. Enters employee disciplinary actions in the discipline log. Completes all necessary paperwork related to employee terminations including logs, separation notices and employee files. Completes Cardex and sends to appropriate department head for final evaluation.
