Position: Secretary-Lamphere High School (EDUStaff) Work Schedule: Full Time, 11 Months, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Compensation: Based on like experience
Lamphere Schools is contracting the services of EDUStaff for secretarial staff.
Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma
- 1 - 3 years of school-related work experience preferred
- Proficiency in MiSTAR, Frontline, Google applications, and Axis Camera System software
- Customer service oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to perform routine office skills, including filing and operating office equipment (copier, scanner, fax machine, etc.)
- Ability to coordinate and process data in a timely and accurate manner
- Self-directed with the ability to perform job tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines accurately and precisely
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with staff members
- Ability to recognize problem areas and seek solutions to increase efficiency
- Demonstrate confidentiality for student privacy reasons
- Able to withstand the strain of the position
- Reliable and punctual with excellent work-related attendance record
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Effective collaboration with staff, including the building administration
- Preparation of building correspondence and reports
- Greet and assist school visitors
- Provide assistance to and answer questions from staff, students, and parents
- Answer phones and address the needs of those calling
- Check-in all guest teachers and coordinate necessary sub coverage for all classes (including communicating coverage to all staff)
- Coordinate purchasing of supplies
- Coordinate service for office equipment
- Submit building use requests and IT requests
- Sort U.S. mail and interschool mail
- Carry out bank deposits and process invoices/payables/reimbursements
- Update all staff lists, phone lists, schedules, etc.
- Calendar responsibilities
- Submit timesheets for staff
- Maintain student activity accounts
- Operate and maintain office equipment
- Coordinate and assist at Parent/Teacher Conferences, Open House, building Board Meetings, and other large school-based events
- Coordinate school events (picture day, special breakfasts, staff appreciation, etc.)
- Assist in preparation of materials for the opening and closing of the school year
- Assist with first aid and dispensing of medication, as needed
- Assist students with health concerns, when necessary
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Perform other office duties as requested by the building administration
