Why does the job exist?
Incumbent will be responsible for providing and managing the operation of the Outpatient Restorative Services (OPRS) Department to individuals seeking services in the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Audiology Department.
How does it get done?
Incumbent will be responsible for providing secretarial support to OPRS; answer and forward all incoming calls in the most courteous and helpful manner. Assist clients with their appointment needs and direct client to correct clinician.

Ideal Candidate
Ideal candidate will have:
Experience with demographics and insurance coverage information;
Experience with secretarial duties;
Experience working with making and maintaining appointments as well as cancellations, reschedules and/or no shows.
Experience with taking minutes for meetings.
Minimum Qualification
High School diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of related experience in office administration. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling six (6) months may substitute for the required experience.
Employment Requirements
Must possess and maintain a valid New Mexico Driver's License.
Working Conditions
Work will be performed in an office setting with exposure to visual/video display terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Lifting up to thirty, (30) pounds may be required.
