Secretary - Class C - Lead
Full-Time 260 days/8 hrs/day
Provide support for the Principals of Elementary and Secondary Student Conduct Program.
Duties: Coordinate all expulsion referrals on behalf of the Principals of Elementary and Secondary Student Conduct. Schedule appointments; communicate with families; prepare documentation; and coordinate all district communication in this process. Manage all student data systems associated with the expulsion process, including but not limited to Synergy. Manage and coordinate communications and projects generated by the Principals of Elementary and Secondary Student Conduct, including but not limited to word processing, payroll, scheduling district-level meetings, office coordination, record maintenance and retention, written and oral communication and provide clerical support/coordination of professional development training. Manage purchase orders, P card, and EDFs. Exhibit exemplary communication skills and understanding of data privacy laws as they pertain to student information. Communicate accurately, effectively, and courteously both orally and in writing to a diverse audience under busy and/or difficult/confidential situations. Ability to compose correspondence and written material independently. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; ability/desire to use computer for word processing, record keeping and information retrieval; good oral and written communication and organizational skills; accuracy and attention to detail; flexibility; ability/ desire to work cooperatively with department, district staff and public; ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Preferred Qualifications: Computer skills and experience with Synergy, MS Word, Excel, Google Suite and Skyward.
Rate of pay: $23.25/hour to $29.35/hour. View additional terms and benefits here.
Insurance benefits available for assigned positions of 6 hours or more per day and 193 days per year.
