Part time Secretary and Property Administrator York

A commercial and residential property company based in Central York are looking for a Secretary and Administrator on a temporary to permanent basis.
The role is to support the fee earners and support the general office function. The role is for 2 days a week fully office based ideally on Wednesday and Fridays.
Role OverviewAs Secretary and Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. You will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, manage administrative tasks, and provide essential support to the property management team.Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the property management and fee earners
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence
- Maintain and update property records, databases, and filing systems
- Prepare documents, reports, and presentations as required
- Handle confidential information with discretion
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative or secretarial role (property sector experience is a plus)
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong Keyboard skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
