Secretaries and Administrative Assistants (Except Legal, Medical, and Executive) Skills and Requirements: - Bilingual preferred (Creole/Spanish)

Responsibilities: - Complete FL-WiSE computer program training.
- Client services coding.
- Perform check-in of existing and potential WIC participants.
- Answer inbound calls and contact clients who have missed appointments by phone or mail.
- Perform related work as required per supervisor instructions.
- Serve clients that only speak Spanish, Creole, or other languages. It may require the performance of interpreter duties (if bilingual) or the implementation of the Department's limited English Proficiency Plan.
- Perform additional tasks as required and other interpreter duties, consistent with skill level as needed.
Additional knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position: - Ability to use a computer, printer, scanner, and calculator.
- Ability to use WIC program-related software and provide proof of successful completion of the WIC WiSE competency test.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to determine work priorities and ensure completion of assignments.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of people.

- Answering a high volume of phone calls and rescheduling appointments.
Time Availability: Mon - Thu from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
