Job Description:
Insight Global is looking to hire a Secret Cleared Automated Test Engineer to support a defense contract in NW DC. This person will be joining a team responsible for the development of an enterprise wide application. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans, ensuring system compliance with DoD functional, performance, and cybersecurity requirements. Develop and execute automated test cases, including BDD, supporting test-driven development (TDD) practices in collaboration with developers. Conduct end-to-end system validation, including acceptance, regression, and integration testing across all software updates. Direct performance and scalability testing to meet operational throughput goals (4,000-10,000 monthly transactions). Prepare software releases for formal Government Test Environment validation. Architect and implement enterprise-wide automated testing solutions integrated into CI/CD pipelines. Maintain, upgrade, and execute, automated test scripts across 400+ test cases. Recommend and deploy test tools and frameworks to enhance automation efficiency and coverage. Ensure test automation validates critical cybersecurity functions including authentication, access control, encryption, and compliance with DoD RMF standards. Coordinate closely with cybersecurity teams to align functional testing with security and operational risk assessments. Serve as the primary testing point of contact for application software releases, coordinating efforts with Development, Cybersecurity, and Operations. Mentor mid-level test engineers in best practices for test automation, system validation, and documentation. Actively participate in Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), Agile sprint planning, and PWS compliance discussions. Analyze test results, prepares status reports, and communicates findings to technical teams and stakeholders.
