Position Overview
This person MUST have food production maintenance experience.
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Second Shift - Maintenance Technician to join their client's team. This candidate will be maintaining fluid packaging machinery in a food plant environment. The role requires a proactive individual ready to contribute to a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain various types of fluid packaging machinery in a food plant environment, including related auxiliary machinery.
- Handle chemicals for support equipment operation, including chemical testing of boiler feed water, condenser, cooling tower water, food-grade glycol, and plant process water.
- Fabricate and manufacture equipment for production needs, such as product and process piping, sanitary equipment, steam lines, chemical lines, and pneumatic lines.
- Work overtime as needed to ensure continuous operation and maintenance of equipment.
- Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is continuously required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. The role frequently requires using hands to finger, handle or feel, reaching with hands or arms, and occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee is occasionally required to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
Required Work Hours
This position requires working from Tuesday to Saturday OR Sunday to Thursday on the second shift.
