Job Details

Our firm is seeking a dynamic and experienced Seasonal Tax Accountant to join our team during the busy tax season. As a Seasonal Tax Accountant, you will have the opportunity to leverage your expertise in state and local tax, tax preparation and tax review. You will work closely with our team of seasoned professionals, providing comprehensive tax services to our diverse client base. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review complex tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, multi-state).
2. Conduct thorough tax audits and ensure compliance with state, local, and federal tax laws.
3. Provide expert tax planning services to high-net-worth individuals and businesses.
4. Research and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide accurate advice to clients.
5. Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements and reports.
6. Identify potential tax credits and liabilities and ensure accurate and complete returns are filed in a timely manner.
7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
8. Stay informed about current tax laws and industry trends to provide the most effective tax solutions.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. A minimum of a years of experience in a tax accounting role with exposure to state and local tax
3. Strong knowledge of tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
5. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach.
8. Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
9. High level of integrity and professionalism.
