Join our team as a Receiving Clerk during our peak season.

We started with pastries handmade by Lois and Lloyd Martin produced inside of a garage and we have boomed into a multi-facility company where our many products are produced by machines and shipped domestically and internationally. As a member of the Martin's Family, the Receiving Clerk a ccurately verifies and keeps records of incoming shipments. Quickly prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Moves ingredients and supplies throughout facility as needed.
- Receives incoming ingredients adhering to strict protocol regarding food safety and food defense
- Assists other departments with moving tasks.
- Unloads and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Operates forklift to move shipments from receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Communicates frequently with production personnel to ensure proper replenishment of goods.
- In conjunction with the Inventory Control Specialist, investigates and remedies inventory discrepancies.
- Reports food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.

- High School Diploma or GED;
- Associate's Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or
- Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
