Position Overview As a Seasonal Customer Service Specialist, you will provide an outstanding customer experience by demonstrating expertise, accountability, and responsiveness. Your strong communication skills will help you deliver professional service to both internal and external customers while utilizing industry-leading technology for vehicle glass repairs and recalibrations.
Your Responsibilities Include: - Welcoming customers in-shop and swiftly addressing their concerns with creative solutions.
- Managing incoming communications-calls, emails, and faxes-related to service issues, pricing, and scheduling.
- Ensuring operational efficiency by confirming work order details and performing insurance verifications.
- Handling administrative tasks such as processing invoices and managing work orders.
- Reviewing orders from the contact center and managing special accounts.
- Learning how to repair vehicle glass through both classroom training and hands-on experience under expert guidance.
- Repairing chips, cracks, and other auto glass concerns on customer vehicles.
- Utilizing our Mobile Resource Management technology to manage work orders and customer communications.
- Cleaning customer vehicles during wait times and performing shop housekeeping tasks.
- Recalibrating automotive safety systems and conducting diagnostic testing.
- Safely operating customer vehicles and handling tools and chemicals throughout your workday.
- Assisting with store opening and closing procedures.
- Performing additional duties as assigned and adhering to company policies.
What We Offer: - Competitive weekly pay, starting at $18.30/hour.

Requirements: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and any necessary operational licenses.
- Completion of on-the-job training and the Safelite SafeTech certification.
Experience: - 1-3 years of customer service or administrative experience required.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Skills and Abilities: - Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs, and assist with lifting heavier windshields.
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and maneuvering your body physically.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely.
- Valid motor vehicle operation skills adhering to all laws.
- Professionalism and a passion for exceeding customer expectations.
- Capability to work with various chemicals safely.
- Flexibility for working hours to meet customer needs.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to troubleshoot issues independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and interpreting the English language.
