Overview
As a Seasonal Customer Service Specialist, you'll deliver an exceptional customer experience through your expertise and commitment. You will provide high-quality service to both internal and external customers using excellent communication skills and effective telephone techniques. You will leverage cutting-edge technology to perform vehicle glass repairs and recalibrations.

Your Responsibilities
  • Greet customers in-store and quickly resolve their concerns, finding creative solutions as needed.
  • Handle incoming communications via calls, emails, and faxes regarding service issues, pricing, warranties, and scheduling.
  • Maintain efficient operations by confirming and completing work order details, including insurance verification and additional parts.
  • Manage administrative tasks, such as processing invoices, work orders, and credit memos.
  • Review orders from the contact center and oversee dealer part orders and special accounts.
  • Receive training to repair vehicle glass through classroom instruction and hands-on experience under skilled technicians.
  • Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
  • Utilize Safelite's Mobile Resource Management technology to manage work orders and customer communication, while promoting Safelite products.
  • Clean customer vehicles during waiting periods and assist with shop cleanliness.
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems through troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
  • Safely operate company tools and chemicals during your workday.
  • Follow store opening and closing procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all policies.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive pay starting at $18.30 per hour.

Education Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license is required.
  • Completion of Safelite SafeTech certification through on-the-job training is required.
Experience Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in telephone operations or business administration is required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and assist with lifting heavier windshields.
  • Ability to work in tight spaces and physically maneuver as needed.
  • Proficient in using various hand and power tools safely.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles legally.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Familiarity with working with chemicals safely.
  • Flexibility in working hours to meet customer needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company uniform policies.
  • Effectively manage performance under pressure and meet productivity targets.
Base Pay Range: $16.30 - $22.80
