A Brief Overview
In this role, you will provide an exceptional customer experience through expertise and accountability, ensuring professional and quality service for both internal and external customers. You will utilize your strong communication skills and advanced technology to manage vehicle glass repairs and recalibrations efficiently.
Your Key Responsibilities: - Welcome customers in the shop and address concerns promptly, often devising creative solutions.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and faxes related to service issues, pricing, and appointments.
- Ensure smooth operations by confirming and completing work order details, including insurance verification.
- Manage administrative tasks such as buyouts, invoices, and work orders with ease.
- Review orders from the contact center and oversee dealer part orders and special accounts.
- Receive training in vehicle glass repair techniques under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles.
- Utilize Safelite technology to manage work orders and customer documentation effectively.
- Clean customer vehicles during their repair process and maintain shop organization.
- Recalibrate automotive safety systems and conduct diagnostic tests as needed.
- Safely operate customer vehicles and use company-issued tools and chemicals throughout the workday.
- Execute store opening and closing procedures.
- Complete other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies and standards.
What You Will Receive: - Competitive weekly pay starting at $18.30/hour.

Education Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid state-issued driver's license required.
- Completion of Safelite SafeTech certification expected.
Experience Requirements: - 1-3 years of experience in telephone operations or business administration required.
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Skills and Abilities: - Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; assist with heavier items as needed.
- Capable of working in tight spaces and being physically active.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Valid driver's license and ability to adhere to traffic laws.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while exceeding customer expectations.
- Comfortable working with various chemicals safely.
- Flexibility in scheduled shifts and willingness to adapt to customer needs.
- Effective problem-solving skills both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and interpreting the English language.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to professionalism and adhering to company uniform policies.
- Ability to maintain performance under pressure and meet productivity measures.
