Position Overview As a Seasonal Customer Service Specialist, you will ensure a smooth and exceptional customer experience by demonstrating expertise, ownership, and responsiveness. Your strong communication skills will be key in providing professional service to both internal and external customers while utilizing our advanced technology for vehicle glass repairs and recalibrations.
Your Responsibilities - Welcome customers in-store and swiftly resolve their concerns, often crafting creative solutions.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and faxes addressing service issues, pricing, warranties, and scheduling modifications.
- Maintain operational efficiency by confirming work order details, including insurance verification and any necessary additional parts.
- Manage administrative tasks such as buyouts, invoices, and work orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Review orders from our contact center and manage dealer part orders effectively.
- Receive classroom and hands-on training to learn glass repair techniques guided by experienced technicians.
- Perform repairs on chips, cracks, and other auto glass-related issues on customer vehicles.
- Utilize our Mobile Resource Management technology to manage customer documentation and communication.
- Assist with vehicle cleaning during idle times and perform housekeeping tasks in the shop.
- Recalibrate automotive safety systems and conduct necessary diagnostic testing.
- Safely operate customer vehicles and utilize company tools and chemicals throughout your workday.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- Fulfill other assigned duties while adhering to company policies and standards.
What We Offer - Competitive weekly pay starting from $16.30/hour.

Qualifications - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Valid state-issued driver's license and any required licenses to operate a company vehicle.
- Completion of Safelite SafeTech certification through on-the-job training.
Experience - 1-3 years of experience in telephone operations or business administration is required.
- A proven ability to deliver world-class customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills and Abilities - Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. and assist with lifting windshields weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and maneuver easily.
- Proficiency in safely using various hand and power tools.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle in compliance with all laws.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work with various chemicals safely.
- Flexibility to work scheduled days with adjusted start and end times to meet customer needs.
