Seasonal Associate

This is a temporary position that will be assisting with the setup, stocking, and opening of our new store.The anticipated rate for this position is $15.50 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Associates can accrue paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law. The Company observes 16 hours of paid holiday time.Seasonal Associates are expected to load and unload trucks, stock merchandise, greet customers, and work together as a team to ensure a timely opening of new store. In addition, all Seasonal Associates are expected to be on-time for shifts and work hard to complete daily tasks as it pertains to the new-store pre-opening check listEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities for New-Store Operations Seasonal Associates may be asked to perform any of the following:Stocker responsibilities - New store set-up processStocking merchandise Inventory managementLoading/unloading trucks This is not an exhaustive list of duties, and New-Store Operations Seasonal Associates may be asked to help with other duties as needed.Job Requirements Open Availability: morning, afternoon and evening availability any day of the week; regular attendance is an essential function of the positionPhysical ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds and stand/move for entire shiftPhysical ability to bend, kneel, climb, crawl and/or twist and safely climb up/down ladder to perform job duties as neededNo operation of vehicle equipment (including forklifts) is permitted unless certified by Harbor Freight ToolsJob Qualifications - Education and ExperienceHigh school Diploma or GED preferred but not requiredAbility to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction)Experience working in a retail environment Ability to work in a team environment Physical RequirementsGeneral office environment requiring ability to:stand, walk, sit for extended periods of timespeak and listen to others in person and over the phoneuse keyboard and read from computer screen and reportslift up to 50 lbs.
