JOB SUMMARY
Marriott's Enterprise Search Engine Optimization (SEO) team is tasked with maximizing traffic and revenue from search engines for Marriott hotels worldwide. The Search Engine Optimization Analyst's primary responsibility is to support Marriott's corporate-based Local SEO program through the creation and optimization of local search hotel citations throughout the global ecosystem. This centralized in-house program provides individual hotels with SEO services, and functions as an agency-like model within the Digital Product Operations organization.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years' experience working in a customer service environment or online field (preferably eCommerce)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
• Experience in Salesforce Ticket support systems and supporting stakeholders with tickets
• Basic MARSHA and Product Catalog knowledge.
• Possess strong comprehension skills which allows for clear and concise explanation and understanding of digital marketing principles, including Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Possesses strong organizational skills.
• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects at once.
• Ability to assess and solve problems quickly, think creatively, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to work well with various functions/departments, and positively influence the work of others
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Managing Work, Projects, and Policies
• Update Google Dashboard with content including hotel amenities/attributes.
• Maintain Google Business Profile (GBP) Listings for all Marriott locations.
• Process updates to Google Maps.
• Monitor, track, research, and resolve items submitted via the mPortal Salesforce ticket support system. If needed, escalate issues to Google utilizing Google's Report a Problem, online forum, or direct contact as appropriate.
• Audit sources/sites to ensure reported issues have been resolved.
• Document types/volume of issues reported and response time, when escalated vendors for assistance.
• Maintain Marriott's highest standards for quality focusing on both content and presentation.
• Meet or exceed individual service levels, targets and team goals.
• Perform a variety of other duties as directed by Management
Supporting Operations
• Conducts quality assurance on personal and others' work to ensure the site meets quality standards, including visual and functional QA and proofreading.
• Exercises independent discretion and judgement when modifying hotel business data across the local ecosystem.
• Follows established escalation procedures when unable to resolve or implement a requested update.
Additional Responsibilities

The pay range for this position is $18.17 to $30.10 per hour. In addition, the position is eligible for an annual bonus.
Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.04616 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 7 holidays annually.
