YOUR ROLE As a Sea Logistics Operational Key Account Manager, you will be the primary contact for our key customer accounts, ensuring that customer expectations are met and that our service delivery aligns with our Customer Promise. You'll work closely with both commercial and operational teams, handling escalations, developing process improvements, and ensuring performance metrics are achieved. Success in this role will require a deep understanding of sea logistics operations, a proactive approach to customer management, and strong problem-solving abilities.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by engaging in regular contact to better understand their needs and expectations.
- Serve as the point of contact for escalations and operational inquiries, ensuring a timely response to customer needs.
Define and negotiate operational requirements with customers, formalizing these as necessary to support service delivery. - Drive customer satisfaction by designing and implementing tailored, customer-specific solutions.
- Facilitate new business opportunities as a subject matter expert on our sea logistics service offerings and operational capabilities.
- Act as a single point of contact for implementation of new projects and business initiatives, coordinating internally to ensure seamless execution.
- Identify operational risks, communicate them to relevant parties, and develop action plans to mitigate potential impacts.
- Collaborate with the Global Key Account Manager (GKAM) to align on customer account strategy and ensure consistent information flow between commercial and operational teams.
- Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with GKAM and Operations, creating reports to track performance and conducting root cause analysis for non-performance.
- Prepare and present data for customer business reviews, assisting GKAM with relevant insights on performance, projects, and operational matters.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES - Strong knowledge of sea logistics operations, systems, and processes.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with flexibility.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
