SDET with Java

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join their team of testers who work on a Web based portal used as a fraud analysis, reporting, and configuration tool

for a AI powered risk management product. The ideal candidate will have about 8 years of experience in QA including 3 years proven experience in developing a test automation

framework from scratch with Java and Selenium, along with Linux / Unix experience, and performance testing using JMeter. This resource will be expected to work 3X/week on site in San Jose, CA office location. The pay rate ranges based off years of experience from $55-65/hour.

Responsibilities include:

-Contributing to scrum team estimations and planning

-Gaining knowledge of the system

-Meeting deadlines based on their estimations of work efforts

-High standard of work in delivering a quality product

-As few defects as possible found in production for owned components

-Good team collaboration, within and outside own scrum team

-Clear and prompt communication of any issues found

Skills and Requirements

-8+ years of quality assurance

-heavy automation experience

-built out automation frameworks with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright

-performance testing with JMeter and K6

-strong SQL skills

-development with Java

-linux/unix experience null
