Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our dynamic team. As an SDET, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of automated tests. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, design test cases, and implement automation frameworks that enable efficient and effective testing practices.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance engineers to define test strategies and test plans.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks and tools to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Write clear and concise test cases and test scripts that cover both positive and negative test scenarios.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability, test coverage, and code quality.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by QA engineers or customers, and work with development teams to resolve them.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C .
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium, or Robot Framework.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
