Software Development Engineers in Test are involved in all aspects of quality assurance activities for a scrum team. Working closely with other Quality Engineers, SDETs, Developers and Product Managers, SDETs leverage and grow their knowledge to design effective test solutions (manual and automated) to ensure a high-quality product for customers.
Responsibilities: - Develop, automate, and maintain highly effective test cases in a CI/CD environment during each sprint of the Agile life cycle
- Work closely with scrum team to understand features, articulate problems, and influence the quality and design of our products.
- Develop and execute test strategies requiring manual or automated testing.
- Continuously curate and enhance test case repository, automated tests, framework, and tool sets to meet best practices and standards
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and triage product and automation issues
- Document, investigate and communicate defects discovered during test execution
- Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, representing QA to provide estimates, test status and risk assessment
- Contribute to process improvements and refinement of QA practices to deliver high quality product from release to release
