Skills - 3-5 years of experience in reinsurance is advantageous.
- 8-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master leading data engineering requirements utilizing Scrum principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience using JIRA to set up Agile boards, manage the product backlog, create Sprint boards, track daily progress, generate JIRA dashboards, and apply JQL for reporting.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, Sprint planning, Sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct product backlog grooming sessions and guide the Product Owner and team in estimating and prioritizing user stories.
- Report Agile metrics like velocity, Sprint completion, and defect churn to key stakeholders.
- Assist ART leads and RTE in drafting PI plans, driving pre-planning iterations, facilitating PI planning events, and reviewing the final PI plan.
- Monitor PI iterations and encourage the team to focus on delivering PI objectives. Communicate and collaborate with ART and RTE to highlight key impediments.
- Facilitate production deployment and track release cadence, including warranty support.
- Continuously seek feedback and motivate the team to enhance performance by fostering agile principles and practices.
- Promote CI/CD and automation, focusing on the quality of deliverables, facilitating SoS to collaborate with other teams, and encouraging the adoption of automation.
- Evaluate team skills and strive to enhance capabilities by proposing skill improvement plans.
- Able to conduct business workshops and document business requirements, both functional and non-functional.
- Collaborate with technical leads and architects to drive and document technical decisions and guide adherence to the technology roadmap.
- Possesses strong acumen and understanding of cloud-based data engineering architecture and landscape.
