About the Role

The Scrum Master plays a key role in supporting agile delivery across cross-functional teams. This team member will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, help drive continuous improvement, remove obstacles to progress, and ensure work remains aligned with organizational goals. You'll work closely with product owners, business analysts, QA, and stakeholders to promote clarity, accountability, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Lead Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize backlogs based on business needs and strategic goals.
  • Promote open communication across business and technical teams, ensuring visibility into priorities, risks, and performance.
  • Proactively identify and remove impediments to team progress.
  • Maintain and communicate key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to support performance and decision-making.
  • Support quality delivery by aligning closely with QA and business analysis functions.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by identifying actionable insights and promoting accountability.
Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
  • Experience working in a financial institution is strongly preferred.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders around shared goals.
  • Ability to assess complex issues, prioritize work, and lead teams toward resolution in fast-paced settings.
Pay

The pay grade for this role is: $106k-128k.
