HOW SCRUM MASTER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
  • Provide proactive, technical systems integration support to fast-paced operational projects.
  • Benefit from knowledge of software development, systems and enterprise architecture, software engineering, data engineering/management, and general problem-solving skills. In addition to embodying a passion for continuous improvement and innovation, a successful candidate should demonstrate a thorough knowledge of operations and their relevant support.
  • Coordinates and monitors the scrum process from initiation through delivery
  • Plans and facilitates scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives
  • Assist the program with assessing, documenting, and tracking program requirements
  • Maintains JIRA and other information radiators for the teams
  • Collaborates with clients or end users to understand business requirements
  • Acts as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring that appropriate project process is made
  • Identify programmatic and technical risks to the program, and work with teams to address and mitigate these risks
  • Identifies and resolves impediments that slow development or prevent the team from meeting established goals or milestones
  • Motivates teams to perform and ensures team members are collectively responsible for all aspects of the committed work (analysis, development, testing, documentation, etc.)
  • Provides reports based on team capacity and how the team is preforming against capacity
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work/military experience
  • Required Experience : 8+ yrs
  • Required Technical Skills:
  • Scrum Master Certification
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud architecture and services
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software development process
  • Knowledge of Jira (or similar) project management tools
  • Desired Skills:
  • PMP certification
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
  • Knowledge of Azure, Google and Oracle cloud service offerings
  • Security Clearance Level : TS/SCI with active polygraph
  • Location : Bethesda, MD - On Customer Site

The likely salary range for this position is $161,500 - $218,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
