Job Description:

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

SMPES Integration Enterprise Architect: Leads enterprise architecture activities for the integration of six separate program systems into the Strategic Mission Planning and Execution System (SMPES). Responsible for collaborating with the other area lead architects and system/software architects from the integrating applications to design the end-state architecture and manage the architectural transition to a combined SMPES system. Leads the development, modernization, upkeep, and maintenance of SMPES system architecture. Ensures that all enterprise architectural products and products with architectural input are maintained in the most current state and never allowed to seriously lag or become obsolete. Creates and maintains up-to-date architecture plans and roadmaps and captures architecture metrics.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree

Required Experience: 15+ years of related experience

Required Certifications: FITSP-D or GCSA or GISF or SSCP

Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Preferred Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation: TOGAF Certified Architect; or Certified Systems Engineering Professional; or ITIL 4 Managing Professional; or CISSP; or CISM; or DAU Program Management Professional (levels I, II, or III); or Global Command and Control System (GCCS) certification;

Location: Offutt, AFB

The likely salary range for this position is $191,412 - $258,970. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
