Scientist - Cell Therapy (Ophthalmology)

We're looking for a Scientist with expertise in cell biology, stem cells, and translational research to join our R&D team. This role is critical to advancing our cutting-edge therapies into the clinic and ultimately, changing lives.
What You'll Do:
- Develop and optimize cell-based therapies targeting the retina and other ocular tissues.
- Lead in vitro and in vivo studies on retinal pigment epithelium cell differentiation, function, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to push therapeutic programs forward.
- Contribute to IND-enabling activities and regulatory submissions.
- Present your findings internally and externally.
What We're Looking For:
- Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Ophthalmology, or related field (or M.S. with 5+ years of experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with iPSCs/ESCs and differentiation into retinal or neural lineages.
- Proficiency in molecular and cellular techniques (flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, immunocytochemistry, etc.).
- Bonus points for experience with animal models, GLP/GMP environments, or AMD-specific research.
