Piper Companies is looking for a Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical solutions company for an onsite role based in Lynwood, California. Responsibilities for the Scientist: Analyze finish good products and raw materials on HPLC, GC, FTIR, and Titrations (visual and potentiometric) Qualify Raw Materials by compendial testing procedures Perform testing on raw material, in-process, and finished good samples when applicable Conduct analytical method validation/verification/transfer from clients or R&D to QC when applicable Document all data in corresponding laboratory notebook and file documentation according to approved SOP and data integrity guidelines Qualifications for the Scientist: 4 to 8 years of pharmaceutical experience or equivalent of education and experience Advanced skills in HPLC and GC required Advanced level of Chromatography Data Software (CDS), preferably Empower 3 Comprehension of regulated guidance (WHO, FCC, FDA, and ICH) Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related scientific discipline (master's degree preferred) Compensation for the Scientist: $78,000 to $90,000 commensurate on experience Comprehensive Benefits Package
