Position: Sanitization Processor
Contract: 12 Months Contract
Location: Irvine, CA
Note: It will be Monday through Friday for half a day (4 hours per day or 20 hours per week). Not expected overtime unless it is necessary.


Job Description: Summary:
The main function of a sanitization processor is to ensures bioburden reduction of all manufacturing aids, tools, and equipment in keeping with Microbiology, Regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
" Prepare tools received from HVT isolation and final assembly - including washing, cleaning, and wrapping - for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests
" Load tools and manufacturing aids in the appropriate autoclave and/or oven per specified diagrammed instructions, and initiate equipment cycle for sanitization, per department procedures or Engineering requests
" Review, follow and perform job functions in compliance with work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records
" On time arrival to work, regular attendance without excessive absenteeism, and working a full 8 hour or longer work period
" Other incidental duties: General work area housekeeping and photocopying cycle charts

Additional Skills:

" Full understanding of load configurations and autoclave operations for autoclaves used for sanitization of tooling and supplies
" Basic computer skills required
" Ability to read, comprehend and speak English, along with good communication skills including giving and receiving feedback
" Knowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelines, as well as Microbiology standards, as they relate to department clean room medical device manufacturing
" Strict attention to detail and ability to comply with standards
" Must be able to work in a team environment and with minimum supervision by following detailed manufacturing instructions
" Work in a Team environment, primarily work within immediate work unit and with other departments as requested

Education and Experience:
" H.S. Diploma or equivalent Previous GMP, clean room, medical device experience preferred
" 0-2 years of experience required
