The Role An outstanding secondary school located close to central Southampton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time position, teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5, and offers the opportunity to become a permanent member of staff for the right candidate.

Responsibilities -
Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.

Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for Science among a diverse cohort of learners.

Plan and assess lessons to promote strong progress for students of varying abilities.

Work collaboratively within a successful and supportive department.

Take part in the wider school life including open evenings, enrichment activities, and ongoing CPD.

What We re Looking For -
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent UK teaching experience.

Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).

Experience teaching at Key Stage 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).

Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

A proactive, team-oriented approach and dedication to student success.
