Position Summary:

Student Schumo Desk attendant oversees all reception area responsibilities at the front desk and general organization of the fitness center.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Managing and overseeing proper check in procedures for all students, staff, faculty, and community members utilizing the fitness center.
  2. Giving tours to prospective fitness members and processing membership applications.
  3. Answering the phone and providing information regarding the current fitness center programming.
  4. Cleaning front desk area, fitness center machines, and cardio equipment.
  5. Keeping fitness center organized.


Work Environment:

Staff member will be required to work at the front desk and within the fitness center.The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.

The individual is routinely exposed to indoor conditions, minimum outdoor weather and temperature extremes, and moderate noise level.

Qualifications/Prerequisites:
  1. SKILLS
    1. CPR & First Aid Certification.
