Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in Pittsburg, CA, for the school year. This position offers a structured schedule with no assigned caseload, allowing for a focus on assessments, interventions, and collaboration with school staff.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support student learning and development.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop interventions that enhance student success.
- Provide consultation and guidance on behavioral, social-emotional, and academic concerns.
- Support the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
- Offer crisis intervention and counseling services as needed.
- Assist in developing and implementing school-wide programs to promote positive mental health.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
- Experience working in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of best practices in educational psychology, behavioral interventions, and special education laws.
