The Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities is seeking qualified School Psychologist candidates for our Fairhaven School for the program year and beyond. The School Psychologist plays a critical role in the identification, assessment, and support of students with developmental disabilities, including students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This role involves working collaboratively with special education teams, educators, families, and external providers to ensure students receive appropriate educational programming and behavioral supports. The psychologist serves as a key member of the multidisciplinary team, contributing expertise in developmental assessment, intervention planning, and inclusive practices that promote student success. Qualified candidates must have a Master's, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) approved program. Must possess and maintain valid Ohio license to practice as a School Psychologist. Demonstrated knowledge of developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder, including diagnostic criteria and evidence-based interventions is required. Strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and experience collaborating on behavior support plans. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Experience working in special education settings, preferably with students who have moderate to severe disabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis, documentation management, and compliance reporting systems. Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII), Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and abuser registry clearances required. Competitive salary and excellent benefits.
