School Psychologist

Minimum 1+ years school psychologist experience required.

A contract position is available for a dedicated professional specializing in school psychology. This role is set in a K-12 educational environment and spans the academic year, focusing on addressing the diverse psychological and educational needs of students.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
Provide direct counseling services to students, fostering their emotional and academic development.
Consult with teachers, administrators, and other professionals regarding student needs and interventions.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive school environment.
Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic techniques as needed.
Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during emergency situations.

Qualifications:

Valid California PPS Psych Credential.
Experience in school psychology, particularly with K-12 students.
Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
