Qualifications:

Valid Michigan School Psychologist licensure
Expertise in administering and interpreting psychological evaluations within educational environments
Strong understanding of the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support Framework (MTSS)
Experience working with Multi-Disciplinary Teams (METs) to assess and determine student needs
Knowledge of Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and Section 504 eligibility

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to establish special education eligibility
Collaborate with district and building teams in implementing MTSS frameworks
Provide guidance and support to educators and staff regarding assessment processes and interventions
Participate in MET meetings to discuss evaluations and recommend appropriate educational strategies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments and findings
