School Occupational Therapist Bridgeport

Minimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Therapist to support students in a dynamic educational environment in Bridgeport, CT. This role focuses on providing therapeutic services to elementary students, fostering their growth and development from pre-K through 6th grade.

Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut Occupational Therapy License
Experience in school-based therapy preferred
Expertise in home health and teletherapy is a plus
Strong understanding of social-emotional learning models
Ability to work collaboratively with educators and staff

Location:

Bridgeport, CT

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of 11 students
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
Assess student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required
Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and student progress
