A well-regarded organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to lead and manage its School Health Program. This role focuses on providing high-quality, accessible healthcare services to students within a structured school-based setting while overseeing program operations, clinical care, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the school health program, ensuring compliance with medical and educational standards
Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and health education for students
Collaborate with school staff, educators, and community partners to optimize student health outcomes
Supervise and mentor clinical staff, fostering a supportive and effective work environment
Monitor program performance, implement quality improvement initiatives, and manage administrative tasks
Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and maintain documentation requirements
Advocate for student health needs and participate in community outreach programs
Requirements:
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with relevant credentials
Experience in pediatric, adolescent, or school-based healthcare preferred
Strong leadership and program management skills
Ability to build relationships with educators, families, and healthcare professionals
Knowledge of public health initiatives and student wellness programs
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
