Position Overview: The School-Based Behavioral Health Liaison provides training and counseling services to children in Trousdale County schools, collaborating with counselors to enhance behavioral health outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field required. Preference for parents/caregivers of children with SED and experience in non-profit or child-serving systems. Skills & Knowledge Preferred:
Experience with children's mental and emotional development. Knowledge of trauma-informed practices and family-driven treatment plans. Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Duties & Responsibilities:
Integrate trauma-informed practices in education. Provide training and counseling interventions. Conduct assessments and facilitate support groups. Document sessions and ensure HIPAA compliance. Other assigned tasks as needed.
