Job Description: Scala DeveloperLocation: 100% Onsite. Greenwood Village, COJD:We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer with expertise in Scalatra, SQL/NoSQL databases, and REST API development. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in developing Microservices and possess a strong understanding of modern software architecture and design principles.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using Scala.Implement RESTful APIs and ensure compatibility with various clients.Develop and manage Microservices architecture to enhance application modularity and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the development process.QualificationsProven experience as a Scala Developer.Strong knowledge of Scalatra framework.Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.Proficient in developing RESTful APIs.Significant experience in developing and managing Microservices.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred SkillsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Top Skills:Scala, Scalatra, Rest API Years of Experience: 11.00 Years of Experience
