Saw / Tube Laser Operator
The Company
An industry leading engineering company that specialises in the design and manufacture or special purpose machinery.
The Role
This role will involve accurately measuring and cutting stainless steel materials to correct sizes following the instruction of technical drawings. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of the metal stores area ensuring it remains an organised and clean workspace.
The work will include the following:
- Operating an automatic tube laser for cutting stainless-steel Box section/OD/NB Tube.
- Operating manual and automatic saws for cutting mainly stainless-steel solid.
- Accurately reading from technical drawings
- Cutting stainless steel material to required lengths.
- Completing job sheets.
- Using appropriate measuring equipment.
