A pioneering space company is looking for a Satellite Operator to join their team on a full-time, rotating shift schedule based onsite in Irvine, CA. You'll be part of a mission-critical operations group managing a fleet of satellites used for global data and insight delivery.

In this role, you'll:
- Monitor and command a global satellite constellation and TT&C ground network
- Support both nominal and anomaly procedures on orbit
- Collaborate with engineers on satellite health, data analysis, and anomaly reporting
- Contribute to daily spacecraft performance checks, pass support, and shift briefings
- Work onsite on a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related STEM field
- Strong troubleshooting instincts and attention to detail
- Familiarity with satellite systems, scripting (Python a plus), and Linux OS
- Ability to work rotating shifts and obtain a security clearance
- Bonus: Prior SatOps experience or exposure to cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure)
