Satellite Communications Systems Engineer Scottsdale, AZ Contract Position $82.19-$87.19/Hour Senior Advanced Systems Engineer job in Scottsdale, Arizona is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Space & Defense company. As a systems engineer for the SDA GMI program, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system. Responsibilities: Apply technical expertise in Satellite Communications, Ground to Satellite Communications or Ground Operations experience Researches and analyzes data, such as vendor products, COTS components, GFE/CFE, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application Performs requirements analysis, requirements definition, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, and system design and definition Supports the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle Facilitates discussions with senior levels of Customer Stakeholders Performs design of networks, with working knowledge of networking protocols Performs detailed technical analyses for a software subsystem or system elements Qualifications: U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain Department of Defense Secret Security clearance. Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or STEM and 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree and 6+ years of experience. Demonstrated Satellite communications knowledge Satellite constellation contact planning experience Ground operations experience Experience in Software functional analysis and interface definitions, including Application Programing Interface experience Still have questions?
