This position plays a critical role in sustaining the SAS Retrieval Applications Website (SAS/RAW), providing system administration, operational support, and enhancements that ensure 24/7/365 availability of this mission-critical platform. This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment marked by changing priorities and evolving technology. Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain system performance, execute data refreshes, and ensure a 95%+ request return success rate. Administer Windows Server Task Scheduler, monitor job execution, and support service availability. Provide help desk support, troubleshoot user issues, and deliver technical guidance to stakeholders. Develop and upgrade SAS/RAW applications using SAS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS. Create SAS stored processes and configure SAS metadata security for web-enabled delivery. Implement software changes in alignment with USAF Implementation Baseline (IB) standards. Assist in SQL-based data extraction and transformation across relational databases. Collaborate with developers and database administrators to ensure integration and synchronization of systems. Understand database joins, data validation principles, and efficient query design. Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies, including DIACAP, RMF, and DISA STIG requirements. Perform vulnerability scanning, source code analysis, and web application security testing. Apply conceptual understanding of Kerberos Authentication and VPN/firewall considerations (e.g., F5). Develop technical documentation, test scripts, and performance reports. Provide system status briefings and quality assurance metrics to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Requirements: Technical proficiency in SAS data step programming and SAS macros, JavaScript (native, not JScript), HTML5, CSS, and table formatting, general SQL knowledge (any database), general cloud computing concepts (AWS preferred), Windows Server Task Scheduler and job management Experience with SAS procedures (e.g., FREQ, TABULATE), SAS stored processes and SAS EBI server-side administration, SAS metadata and security configuration, Microsoft Excel and file formatting (CSV, tab-delimited), Understanding of relational databases and join conditions, Windows services, AWS CLI, batch scripts (.bat), and Kerberos basics Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks amid shifting priorities and occasional technology challenges Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570-compliant certification for IAT Level 2 Additional certifications in SAS, AWS, or SQL-based platforms desired Active security clearance IPTA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
